1. How long does it take between the receipt of an article and its publication?
Between 6 and 7 months.
2. Once an article has been submitted, how long does it take to receive the peer review?
Between 60 and 90 days may elapse.
3. In addition to the blind peer review, does the article receive any other reviews?
Yes, the first review that your submission will receive will be the one that will determine if the article meets the originality criteria using Turnitin anti-plagiarism software.
The second review will be the one that will determine if the subject of the article belongs to the research field of the results published by Economía, Sociedad & Territorio journal.
The third review focuses on the editorial criteria, i.e., it is verified that the article meets the indications of the author's guide. This review is previous to the blind peer review.
The fourth review corresponds to the blind peers where it will be determined if the article fulfills the criteria of scientific research in the social sciences and in the corresponding area. This phase may consist of up to three rounds.
4. Can I receive a certificate of publication?
Yes, only when you have passed the second or third round of the blind peer review process and must request it to the Economía, Sociedad & Territortio editorial team.
5. If my article is not yet in the blind peer review, can I receive a certificate?
Yes, this will not be a proof of publication but of the stage of the article and you should request it to the Economía, Sociedad & Territortio editorial team.
6. About the obligations and copyright. Transfer of rights
The author shall undertake to sign a letter of assignment of exclusive rights to the journal Economía, Sociedad y Territorio, and to give his or her permission for the article to be reproduced in printed and electronic format. The author(s) will receive by e-mail the link corresponding to the issue of the journal in which their work is published for downloading and free consultation.
