Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published nor has it been sent to another journal or editorial body.

  • Extension: the extension of the articles must be from 20 to 25 pages.
  • Title of the work in the original language of the text and in English, the extension must be no longer than 15 words.

  • Full name(s) of the author(s): with a footnote (with one, two or three asterisks, according to the number of authors) indicating their institutional ascriptions and e-mail addresses. Name in capitals and small capitals, surnames separated by a dash.

  • Abstract in the original language of the text and in English not exceeding one hundred words.

  • Key words: a listing from three to five key words in the original language and in English.

  • Tables should bear a name and a source and be numbered in the Arabic numbering system. In like manner, maps, plans, figures, slides and photographs must bear a name, source and shall be numbered in Roman numerals, however.

  • The text fulfills the bibliographic and style requirements indicated in Instructions for authors, which can be found in About the journal.

  • If there is a submission for a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the author(s) has to make sure that the instructions in Securing a blind peer review have been followed.
  • The text has a standardized bibliography in the Harvard format and contains ALL data. Bibliography will be written according to the examples specified in Instructions for authors.
  • The introduction and conclusions shall not be numbered.

  • The text includes at the end a brief résumé of the author and all coauthors, if any, written according to the model exemplified in Instructions for authors.

Author Guidelines

 

 

 

Articles

Summaries of results or else reports of research advances are accepted. These contributions shall cover the following points: an abstract and key words, introduction, researched problem, topic in which it is inscribed, research focus, hypothesis or research questions, basic approaches, findings or conclusions and bibliography.

Reviews

Analytical reviews of monographic works of interest for social sciences are accepted. For this sort of collaborations it is recommended identifying the author with their basic biographic data; not only dealing with the book, but also with the topic of it; identifying the purpose of the author, what they try to accomplish, their contributions; determining sources, their management, organization of results and book structure. Reviews of book published in Spanish or other languages are accepted, however in all cases reviews shall refer to recently published books. The original exposition will be respected; nevertheless the reviews must cover the aforementioned points independently from the style.

The names and e-mail addresses sent to this journal will be exclusively used for the ends declared by the journal and will not be available for any other purpose or person whatsoever.
